For a lot of last minute planning, the Westcott Fair turned out pretty well and was quite a success for Scallywag. Hoping to do more fairs and festivals this season! Also, there’s 3 new shirts that have yet to be posted that should be getting out this week!
Here’s one of the new designs that will be available at the Westcott Fair. Which color do you like better? White or Black? Click the photo above to put in your vote!
Scallywag Clothing will have a booth at the Westcott Art & Cultural Fair in Syracuse, NY on Sunday, September 23rd! Droppin’ new shirts! Be sure to come check them out and pick one up! More news to come… =)
Right now I’m in the process of lining up some new artists/designers to work with. Everyone seems to have some really awesome, fresh ideas and I’m super excited. Please feel free to contact me here or on Facebook if you’re interested in joining the Scallywag team! Ahh can’t wait!
will be getting printed on Thursday and I’ll be bringing them and flyers to pass out (WITH COUPON CODES!!!) to the CT Warped Tour on Sunday. The shirts won’t go on sale until after Warped so get them there FIRST!!! WOO!
But I will let you know that something new is in the works and should be done by the end of next week (maybe this week!) so keep an eye out! Hint: it’s something I referenced in my second post ever written on Tumblr…a long time in the making haha. Also, I’ll post pictures this week of things I’ve been working on and the progress I’ve made thus far. I got some new EXTRA LARGE pallets built this past weekend (thanks dad!) so I can print over sized designs. Also came up with some new ideas I’d like to throw out at all of you for your opinions. So stay tuned for an update!
Look no further! “LIVE THE DREAM” t-shirts are on sale NOW and will arrive in time for the holidays if you ORDER THIS WEEK!!!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an update so I figured I’d share with you what’s going on. I’m waiting to print the Unicorn hoodies because I want to use waterbase/discharge inks to print them and I don’t have the ability to do that right now. If I wait, they’ll get printed so much nicer with hardly any hand (heaviness of ink). I promise them by Christmas.
It seems like a lot of people wonder why everything is taking so long. Well Scallywag Clothing is much different than most t-shirt companies. The main difference is that everything is designed and printed by the one person…me. The majority of t-shirt companies come up with a cool design and have it sent out to be printed. They don’t get involved in the graphic design aspect or get their fingers, arms, and legs covered in ink. They don’t invest in equipment and they aren’t living the same dream. They just have good ideas…no skills, no ability, no real understanding of what goes into the making of one shirt. And I’m certainly not knocking anyone, but when you look at a Scallywag shirt know that every step of the process was done by Scallywag Clothing to put a smile on your face! No short-cuts, no cheating, just hard work, dedication, and passion :)
Sometimes the best things in life are worth waiting for!
Get them before they’re gone. Only 25 were printed! Buy one at the Scallywag store!!!
